Mediaite learned that 2024 presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will announce his decision to run as an Independent on October 9, in Pennsylvania.

According to a review by Mediaite, Kennedy’s campaign is planning to run “attack ads” on the Democratic National Committee to “pave the way” for the announcement of his running as an Independent in Philadelphia.

A Kennedy campaign insider said that Kennedy felt the DNC was changing the rules in order to exclude him from running for office. An independent run, therefore, is the only option.

He is expected to announce his candidacy for the independent ticket in Pennsylvania on October 9.
