The memorial service for former First Lady Rosalynn Carter was held on Tuesday, and instead of acknowledging her legacy, some on the left decided to search desperately for something to get angry at. Enter Melania Trump, who once again became a target for their hatred over her choice of dress at the event.
Some leftists took to X (formerly Twitter) to complain about Melania wearing a black and speckled jacket on top of her black dress to the event. They claimed it was disrespectful.
Melania’s choice of fashion is as genuine as meat made from plants. It’s a fact that Melania Trump is married to Donald Trump and therefore cannot be forgiven. So, people are forced to find a way to act like they are upset with her.
How can we tell if the outrage is fake or not? It’s being spread by left-wing hacks on social media, so that’s a good start. There was also another former First Lady who didn’t wear black to another memorial service. It’s true, that Hillary Clinton wore the same color coat to former First Lady Barbara Bush’s memorial service.
It’s not the first instance that the left has lost their collective minds over Melania Trump’s fashion choices. In 2018, Melania wore a green jacket with the words “I don’t really care” on it as she boarded a plane to visit immigrant detained children in Texas. Do You?”
It was a big news story because elite media are rotten garbage. Melania acknowledged later that the jacket was meant to be a message for the media:
She said, “It is obvious that I did not wear the jacket because of the children. I wore it to get on and off the airplane.”

Mrs. Trump criticized the media for being “obsessed with” her clothing.
