Fetterman Provokes New Jersey Democrat Elite with Bold Move

John Fetterman pokes his finger into the eye of the Democrat Elite again. It’s been an ongoing theme in the last few weeks as he has opposed his party on issues such as support for Israel and the border crisis. He also opposes the off-shoring of jobs and Bob Menendez. He managed to rile up the women on “The View.”

My friends, these are exciting times.

Fetterman, in another rejection of his party establishment, is supporting Andy Kim, the wife of New Jersey’s governor Phil Murphy, for the U.S. Senate.

Fetterman’s comments put me in an awkward, if not uneasy, position as a conservative. It seems unlikely that Republicans will compete for his Senate seat so long as he wishes to keep it. Fetterman won his election by default, and his pragmatism against the shrieking leftists made him a popular senator.

This is the price of nominating Mehmet OZ, a controversial and unpopular television personality to run against him.

Don’t blame anyone else. I warned everyone.

Second, even though Fetterman has suddenly embraced common sense and moderate views, we will still disagree on 80 to 90% of the issues that he votes on at the Senate. He’s firmly in the same lane as Kyrsten. Sinema. She will stop the filibuster, which could save the nation, but is still pro-abortion. On that front, it’s what it is. But I would be a hack to not show her respect for speaking out on such a crucial issue.

This is how I am starting to think of Fetterman. In the 2022 campaign, maybe because his wife was so far left, I assumed that he would govern as a revolutionary. But he hasn’t and I must give him credit for it. He deserves credit, not too much because he will inevitably irritate me at some point.
