It is outrageous to hear many leftists claim that Donald Trump, or any Republican candidate for president, is Hitler. Robert De Niro is another example of an absurd performance that I find outragous. He repeated the Trump Derangement Act, prompted by Stephanie Ruhle’s questions on MSNBC’s 11th Hour.
Robert De Niro: “You know, as a kid, I’d say Hitler, it’s a nightmare, that never would happen. But now I see that it’s possible.” pic.twitter.com/fgq6n5fpEi

“You know, when I was a child, I would say Hitler is a nightmare and that it never will happen again. But now I can see it’s possible,” he said, comparing Trump with the Nazis and der Fahler. “I don’t understand it. I don’t, I don’t think they know how dangerous it would be if he, God forbid – ever became president again.”
I think he may have been swayed by the cult’s language. It’s absurd, and it diminishes the real horrors of Adolf Hitler.
De Niro’s words are not something I would consider when deciding who to vote for. He’s a successful actor, but he doesn’t know what is going on in politics or the world. He doesn’t have to worry about the negative consequences of Biden on the rest of us, like Bidenflation or high-interest rates.
Elon Musk, the owner of X, rushed to defend Trump and gave De Niro a lesson. He said something very simple: We already know how it feels to be Trump’s president.
Well, Trump was actually already president for 4 years and his policies bore no resemblance to those of Hitler, so this makes no sense.
In fact, with the Abraham Accords, he made some progress towards peace in the Middle East, which was definitely not high on Hitler’s agenda.

This is absurd. Trump had been president for four years, and his policies were nothing like those of Hitler.
Hitler was not a fan of the Abraham Accords.
De Niro needs to hear facts and logic.
Biden’s weakness emboldened the bad actors, and he brought chaos to both here in the Middle East as well as elsewhere.
Musk, who was a Democrat before, has gone in a completely different direction by defending Trump. As Musk puts it, progressives such as De Niro are so far left that they’re now in bizarro land. Based on Elon’s comments, I don’t think it would be surprising at all if he voted for Trump. He sees the destruction that has been caused by the left. He has a platform, and we can watch his evolution. I believe he is a good example of what others might do.
Independents are attracted to Trump because they see all of this and know that it was not chaotic under Trump. You can also bring up antisemitism, and the threats against Jews that are increasing under Biden. He doesn’t seem to know how to handle it because he does not want to upset his leftist base.
Elon talks sense, but the left is sadly deranged.
