Explosive Revelation: Whistleblowers Expose Hunter Biden’s Deception to Congress Regarding Family Business

Rep. Jason Smith, R-MO, chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee revealed shocking revelations about Hunter Biden’s previous statements to Congress on Wednesday. Smith began the session on May 22, 2024, by releasing documents from IRS whistleblowers that indicated Biden had lied during his February deposition in Congress to distance himself and his family’s business dealings abroad.

Smith explained that Biden tried to “distance himself from what should be considered as a clear scheme for enriching the Biden Family” by lying to Congress repeatedly in his deposition in February.

Documentation provided by whistleblowers showed how Biden, his business partners, and others made millions of dollars by using the Biden brand.

“From whistleblower-provided evidence, we know Hunter Biden and his business associates made millions from selling access to Joe Biden and the quote ‘brand’ that is Joe Biden around the world,” Smith said.

Chairman Smith: “New documents provided by the whistleblowers show that Hunter Biden repeatedly lied to Congress in his February deposition to distance his involvement in what should be considered a clear scheme to enrich the Biden family.”

A WhatsApp message allegedly sent by Hunter Biden to a business partner was one of the most damning evidence. Smith stated that the documents showed “Hunter Biden” twice mentioning he was with his father. However, Hunter claimed in his deposition he sent the message to the wrong recipient because he had been “high or drunk”. Hunter’s claim has been debunked, however, by phone records that show the message was sent to Raymond Zhao, an affiliated Chinese businessman with the company Hunter was doing business with.

Smith stressed this point by saying that Hunter was “using his father’s names to extort a Chinese businessman, and it worked.” When confronted about it by Congressional investigators, he lied.

Hunter Biden is also accused of lying about his role at Rosemont Seneca Bohai. This was a business venture that Hunter, Devon Archer, and Christopher Heinz founded in 2009. Hunter denied being the secretary of the corporation or having any control over its bank accounts. Smith slammed this claim, stating that the “truth is in his handwriting,” referring to a document identifying Hunter as “duly elected, competent and acting Secretary” of Rosemont Seneca Bohai, LLC.

Smith brought up allegations that Hunter had helped others obtain U.S. Visas.

Third, Hunter Biden lied in his deposition by saying he had never assisted individuals in obtaining U.S. Visas. Whistleblowers provided to the Committee an email between Devon Archer and Hunter Biden with Ukrainian associates, in which Archer stated that Hunter was checking with Miguel Aleman to determine if he could provide cover for Kola on a visa.

The chairman concluded by saying that Congress cannot allow its oversight responsibilities to be undermined by any lies, even those told by the son of the president. Hunter Biden is not above the law, regardless of what he believes.
