16 Nobel Laureates Slam Trump’s Economic Policies in Scathing Letter: Their Shocking Reasons Revealed

Remember the letter signed by 51 former and current intelligence officials claiming that the Hunter Biden laptop contained Russian disinformation? We now have the economic version after 16 Nobel Prize-winning economists joined forces to warn about Donald Trump’s policies.

It’s easy to play. The game is simple. A group of “left-wing experts” in one field sign a statement. It is then seized upon by the press as if they are the only authority on this issue. It’s true, it happens again. CNN reports the news without mentioning the partisan makeup of the team.

What’s inside this thing? Here is the price quote.

Sixteen Nobel Prize-winning economists warn that former president Donald Trump’s economic plans could cause inflation if he is elected in November.

Many Americans are worried about the recent drop in inflation. According to the letter, “There is a rightful concern that Donald Trump’s fiscally irresponsible Budgets will reignite inflation,” as stated by a group of economists including Joseph Stiglitz from Columbia University, who was awarded the Nobel Prize for Economics in 2001, and Yale Professor Robert Shiller who received the Nobel prize in economics in 2013

It’s hard to know where to begin, but almost everything said by Joseph Stiglitz is absurd. It is a projection to say that Trump’s budgets will “reignite inflation” with their fiscal irresponsibility. The former president will not be able to get any budgets he proposes approved if he is elected president. It’s not the way things are done anymore due to partisan differences in Congress.

Second, Joe Biden’s budget deficit is projected at $1.9 trillion by 2024. His “forgiveness plan” for student loans is responsible for a large portion of this. It is absurd to think that Trump’s first term was marked by excessive spending.

To say that the inflation rate has dropped “remarkably quickly” is tone-deaf. Do you feel that inflation has come down quickly to you? Normal Americans are dealing with high prices and rates of interest, while inflation is stubbornly higher than the baseline. It is insulting to pretend that Biden handled the inflation crisis, which he caused.

This is the biggest problem facing these 16 “experts.” The authorities have been so dishonest in the past that no one is interested in appeals to them anymore. The fact that the letter exists only makes Trump more appealing to Biden.
