The Democrat Party’s hypocrisy is one of my favorite parts of presidential campaigning. Yep, the “party of the middle class” is more interested in hanging out with celebrities and wealthy donors than it is in the little people.
Kamala Harris, the Democrat nominee for president in recent memory, is more drunk on the predictable practice of any other candidate I’ve ever seen. That includes Hollywood’s cherished gold boy, Barack Obama.
Harris’ campaign focused on celebrity sit-downs and fundraising from mega-donors. An occasional interview with a friendly, “journalist”, asking softball questions, was thrown in to try and quiet critics. This backfired. The installed presidential nominee is still raking in millions.
As an example:
In less than a week after Joe Biden was expelled, the Democracy Alliance – a group that includes leftist donors who have raised more than $2 billion in support of liberal causes – backed Harris. In August, Harris’ first month as a nominee, her campaign raised $361m, which was more than double the amount that former president Donald Trump had collected in the same month.
That was only the beginning. Harris’ first Los Angeles appearance was on Sunday, September 29th.
Tickets for the fundraiser started at $500 and went up to $1 million. Celebrities like Stevie Wonder and Jessica Alba were in attendance. An estimated $ 55 million was raised.
It is reasonable to assume big-money donors, A-list celebrities, who probably can’t recall the last time that they bought groceries or pumped gas themselves, understand the plights of working-class Americans in the past four years as the Biden and Harris administration opened our southern border, spent billions to bring illegal aliens into the country, waged war on the oil and gas industries and spent billions to fight the never-ending Russia and Ukraine War? It’s not reasonable to assume that big-money donors and A-list celebrities who can’t remember the last time they pumped their gas, or even shopped for groceries, understand the plight of working-class Americans over the past nearly four years as Biden and Harris’s administration threw open our southern borders, spent billions on illegal aliens, went to war against oil and natural gas industries, and spent billions in never-ending Russia/Ukraine War?
But “the party for the middle class” keeps singing the same old tired song. Except when Kamala Harris does it, the lyrics are mostly nonsense and word salads. Let’s not get started with Tim Walz.
Former Obama fundraiser Allison Huynh said to the Daily Caller News Foundation, that Hollywood and Big Tech had long promoted candidates as “aspirational luxurious tickets,” recalling the way Obama was “adopted.”
As I said, they market their candidates like a luxury ticket. I was attracted to Obama because a lot of young people supported him. He spoke to those who were new to the world of politics or who felt disenfranchised by its divisiveness.
Obama was quickly adopted by Oprah and P. Diddy. Beverly Hills royalty, including Harvey Weinstein, also adopted Obama under the guise of social justice. This is what I saw.
What did Obama do as soon as he moved into the White House, exactly? He divided America along racial lines and based on class. Hollywood is still fawning over him as if there was no tomorrow.
Kamala Harris is a fraud, who cannot speak even a semi-intelligible phrase that’s not scripted. Yes, the “party of the middle class” does exactly what it has always done.
