Adam Schiff Admits ‘Entire Democrat Party,’ Including Himself, Shares Blame for Trump’s Victory

For months, I said nothing about the 2024 presidential election or its outcome would surprise me. And throughout, nothing did. But now, three weeks later, I find myself genuinely surprised.

Adam Schiff, California’s Democrat Senator-elect, appeared on the set of NBC “Meet the Press,” Sunday, and reflected with the host Kristen Welker. They discussed why Vice President Kamala Harris and other Democrats who were not elected to the presidency, as well as the Republican Party in the United States, had been systematically dismantled. The Democrat who is known for lying a lot was stunned by what he said.

Welker began the fun when she played a video of Schiff just one month before Election Day. The Californian was confident in his prediction that Harris would “overwhelmingly” win. Oops.

Schiff’s usual style of deflection and obfuscation was evident in the follow-up conversation. Schiff’s first response, in response to Welker’s journalistic question on what Democrats did wrong, was:

Joe Biden made the right choice to step down and hand over the torch. This gave us the chance to win but not a guarantee. I thought she would win. I thought she would win.

With all (no) due respect, Adam, nonsense.

Biden could have declared that he would not run for reelection early on, and if Harris won the Democrat primary (she wouldn’t have), then the radical leftist from San Francisco, who turned out to be the worst presidential nominee at least in modern history, might have lost worse. No Democrat presidential candidate would have been brave enough to distance themselves from the radical left.

Schiff then (incorrectly) attributed Trump’s victory to “anti-incumbency”.

The anti-incumbent waves that swept both conservatives and progressives out of office and our party were associated with the status quo.

Let’s fix it. The anti-Biden/Harris wave has wiped out Democrats by historic numbers. It’s much better.

Then, Schiff began to be shockingly real.

It was just too much. The economy is my main concern. Over the years, it has become increasingly difficult to earn a living for those who work full-time. We may find that the presidency is more difficult to hold until we solve the economic challenge.

When Schiff finally admitted it (emphasis mine), hell began to freeze over.

Look, I believe that the Democratic Party as a whole, including myself, is responsible.

Whoa. Who would have thought it? What was the name of that person, and what happened with Adam Schiff?

Schiff’s (no question temporary) miraculous metamorphosis continued… when he complimented Trump for running a successful election.

The former president… ran a successful campaign. It’s a credit to them. We need to have a bold vision for how to make the economy work better for all Americans. The existential question for me is whether you can earn a decent living in America while working hard. Too many people don’t believe that this is possible.

Easier said than done, Adam. For the Democrat Party, that is.

Conclusion:

Let’s get to the point. This is the thing.

It got worse.

Mainstream — dare I say “moderate”?

Period.
