Biden’s Policies Spark Debate Over Expanded Immigration Measures

So much for a peaceful, smooth, and cooperative transition of power. The outgoing Biden Administration has opened the door for thousands of illegal immigrants to enter the United States in what looks like a deliberate effort to undermine the incoming Trump Administration.

The Biden administration has loosened some important immigration restrictions in advance of President-elect Trump’s second term. This will allow thousands more illegal immigrants into the United States.

Trump has said that he may declare a state of emergency and deploy military forces to deport large numbers of people. Biden’s administration is, however, taking steps to complicate Trump’s border plans. The Biden Department for Homeland Security will launch an ICE Portal application in December, which will allow migrants who are not able to check in at an ICE Office to check in via the app on their phone or computer.

It seems like an attempt to throw a stumbling block at the Trump administration. This app appears to allow illegal immigrants to remain in the United States without ever having to face an immigration official. It also prevents any screening or vetting. It’s even worse because it prevents immigration officials from tracking the location of illegal immigrants.

The app has severe bugs and cannot track the location of a migrant if they are using an Android device or laptop.

The app also does not check for previous arrests or outstanding warrants, and migrants can opt out or challenge government orders that they are tracked electronically.

The New York Post reported on the first wave of the program, which will enroll up to 100,000 migrants.

This is not surprising, given the statements made by some prominent Democrats about this issue. Even after high-profile crimes committed by illegal alien gangs.

Local politicians in New York are not happy with this decision. New Yorkers have supported New York City’s status as a “sanctuary” city in the past, but now they see the costs and effects of the invasion.

Lawler, who is a Republican and represents New York’s suburban District 17 in Congress, told Fox News Digital the decision of the Obama administration to loosen restrictions after the murder trial for Laken Reilly’s killer “defies all logic and common sense.”

He said that the timing of this news, just one day after Laken’s murderer Jose Ibarra had been sentenced was astounding. Mr. Ibarra was living in a taxpayer-funded hotel in Queens when he killed Ms. Reilly.

On January 20th, we can only hope that the ICE portal app will be shut down immediately. How many illegal immigrants are expected to enter the United States between now and January 20th? How many unscreened, non-vetted immigrants, invaders, will enter the United States, ignore such apps, and disappear?

It’s impossible to know. Donald Trump’s reelection was in part due to his commitment to addressing this crisis. Tom Homan being put in charge of border security seems like a good first step. The outgoing Biden Administration seems to be determined to make this as difficult as they can.
