Kamala Harris returned to the $7 million house that she stayed in during her Hawaiian vacation. Now that she was rested, she stood before the camera and delivered a meaningless word salad. She looked tired and strained, either because the lighting wasn’t good or she hadn’t gotten enough rest. She was trying to convey a positive message, but her tone was somber.
She’s right, it can’t be much fun to get hammered in an election. You’d have thought that, with three weeks having passed since the election, she or someone in her office could have come up with a more intelligent message. She was not very concise in her delivery, but it seemed that she kept repeating “Don’t let anyone take your power away from you.”
You have the same power as before November 5th. You still have the same amount of power as you had before November 5.
You have the same goal as you did.
You have the power to inspire and engage, so never let anyone or anything take that away from you.
What is that supposed to mean? What does it mean that Donald Trump will “take your power”? Only the Biden-Harris Administration and my blue state nightmare Gavin Newsom, during COVID, took my power.
She continues to act as if her words are deep and powerful when they are not.

You might think it’s in bad taste to make fun of someone who has just suffered an awful defeat. In reality, this woman was second in command in one of the most divisive and harmful administrations of history. She lied about Joe Biden’s mental decline for many years. This put the entire country at risk (and it remains so until January 20).
She is also reportedly considering a run for the Oval Office again in 2028, or a bid to become California’s next Governor in 2026. It’s fair to continue playing ball as long as she is on the field.
Harris would need to significantly improve her speaking and political skills if she were to run again for office. This is not a good start.
