Rep. Eli Crane Mocks Democrats, Suggests Therapy Dogs Over ‘Mental Stability’ Concerns

During a Wednesday hearing, Rep. Eli Crane suggested that the House Oversight Committee bring in therapy dogs to assist Democrats. You wouldn’t believe it, would you? The hearing on Thursday featured adorable puppies.

It’s not as simple as you might think.

During a hearing entitled “Rightsizing Government,” Mr. Crane noticed that some of his Democratic colleagues were a bit frightened by the notion that Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency team (DOGE) was making an effort to reduce government waste and fraud.

The resistance party had tried to surprise GOP lawmakers earlier by asking for a vote on subpoenaing Musk. Chaos and shouting ensued. The chaos ensued, with “Out of order!” being shouted in all directions.

The surprise failed because the Democrats caught two Republicans off guard and won the election 20-19.

Crane made a reasonable suggestion as the hearing continued.

“Mr. Chairman, would it be possible to get some therapy dogs in here for my colleagues on the other side of the aisle?” he asked.

Rep. James Comer, the chair of the Committee (R-KY), made a joke about asking Rep. Jamie Raskin to “shrink”, prompting Crane’s devastating response.

He said, “I worry about their mental health.”

Before the chaos of the vote, the anti-DOGE protests that took place outside the Treasury Department on Tuesday were already a scream for madness. Democrats are in a bad way.

The screeching increased to eleven when lawmakers realized that Musk and DOGE were cleaning out the U.S. Agency for International Development, an agency that has been proven to serve as a pet project slush funds for the Democrat Party.

While Crane’s exchange was a great laugh for most, X insisted that he wasn’t joking. They need some therapy dogs for the Democrats.

He countered, “It was not meant to be a prank, the adults want to finish their work.”

Then, fast forward to the committee hearing on Thursday, and lo and behold there were some dogs in this House.

Crane said, “I asked Chairman Comer yesterday at an Oversight Hearing if we could bring some therapy dogs to this area because of all the meltdowns going on. I never thought I would walk into today’s hearing and see three adorable beagle puppies.”

The Arizona congressman commented that the mere presence of dogs improved his mood, and suggested to the committee that they “make it compulsory” for the dogs to be present.

Unfortunately, these beautiful beagle pups were there for an unattractive reason.

Nancy Mace, Chairwoman of the Subcommittee on Cybersecurity, Information Technology, and Government Innovation, brought them as a demo for a hearing on “Oversight on Taxpayer-Funded Animal Cruelty.”

The cruelty was funded by Dr. Anthony Fauci, who has since been pardoned. You might recall that Fauci’s former employer, the National Institutes of Allergy & Infectious Diseases (NIAID), a branch of the National Institutes of Health(NIH), used taxpayer funds to fund cruel experiments on animals.

According to Mace, the beagles pictured at the hearing were rescued from the NIH lab supplier.

Mace’s opening remarks included this grim reminder:

The White Coat Waste Project discovered in 2021 that Anthony Fauci’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (a component of NIH) spent $1,68 million forcing toxic drugs into beagle puppies aged between 6 and 8 months before dissecting and destroying them.

Congresswoman Mace noted that the beagles present in the chamber are “a reminder of what animal experimentation costs.”

Even the cutest of beagles may not calm Democrat’s fears, given where their heads are at this moment. They are lost, broken, and screaming “War!”

Beagles, peacocks, and llamas can all provide emotional support. No amount of therapy can heal the wounds caused by a party that has lost its grip on government slush money, let alone its grip on reality.
