Okay, so here’s the thing about Iran’s nuclear program. The left, in their infinite wisdom, seems to think we can sit down and have a nice chat with the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism. Let me lay out the facts here. Iran has been destabilizing the Middle East for decades, they’re actively pursuing nuclear weapons, and now even Democratic Senator John Fetterman is calling for decisive action. When a Democrat starts sounding more hawkish than Trump, you know we’ve entered bizarro world.
First, Iran has repeatedly violated international agreements. Second, they’ve been caught lying about their nuclear program multiple times. And third, they continue to fund terrorist organizations across the region. If A, B, and C are true, then logically, any negotiation with Iran is doomed to fail. It’s not rocket science, folks.
Senator Fetterman, in a rare moment of clarity for a Democrat, said we should “waste that s**t” when it comes to Iran’s nuclear facilities. He’s right. The idea that we can negotiate with a regime that chants “Death to America” is absurd on its face. It’s a fundamental misunderstanding of geopolitics and the nature of the Iranian regime.
The left claims that military action against Iran would lead to regional war. That’s just not true. As Fetterman correctly points out, the so-called experts have been wrong about this for years. Hezbollah, Hamas, the Houthis – all of these Iranian proxies have proven to be paper tigers. The data clearly shows that Iran’s influence is waning, not growing.
Let’s say, hypothetically, that we do nothing and allow Iran to acquire nuclear weapons. What then? We’d be facing a nuclear-armed terrorist state with apocalyptic ambitions. The threat to Israel, our strongest ally in the region, would be existential. And let’s not forget, a nuclear Iran would spark an arms race across the Middle East. Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and others would rush to develop their nukes. This is a recipe for global instability.
In conclusion, negotiating with Iran is a fool’s errand. The only language the mullahs understand is strength. President Trump was right to pull out of Obama’s disastrous Iran deal, and he’d be right to take decisive action now. Facts don’t care about your feelings, and the facts about Iran’s nuclear ambitions are clear. It’s time to act, before it’s too late. And that’s something the left simply cannot refute.
