Jeffrey Epstein’s defense attorney has asserted, with marked assurance, that his client held no damaging information against President Donald Trump. This claim is in direct contrast to Elon Musk’s allegation that the Department of Justice has withheld relevant Epstein files due to Trump’s inclusion in them.

This development follows earlier reports that civil rights and criminal defense lawyer David Schoen took to social media on Thursday night to debunk such assertions. “I was hired to lead Jeffrey Epstein’s defense as his criminal lawyer 9 days before he died. He sought my advice for months before that. I can say authoritatively, unequivocally, and definitively that he had no information to hurt President Trump. I specifically asked him!” Schoen stated.

The link between Trump and Musk, who until recent times served as the head of the president’s Department of Government Efficiency, has witnessed a rapid decline. This deterioration of relations was catalyzed by Musk’s public disagreement with the “one, big, beautiful bill” that has passed the House and is currently under Senate scrutiny.

President Trump responded with visible dissatisfaction, expressing his disappointment with Musk’s opposition to the extensive tax-cut and spending bill, a cornerstone of the president’s agenda. This exchange of words escalated into a series of potent online remarks.

Epstein’s connection to this narrative stems from his 2019 death by apparent suicide in a New York jail, where he was facing trial for sex trafficking charges. This raises important questions about the veracity of the claims made by the defense attorney and the potential implications for those involved.

The evidence suggests that the dispute between Trump and Musk continues, while the Epstein files remain a contentious issue.
