Jason Miller, senior advisor to Trump, announced Monday that former President Donald Trump’s campaign fundraising rose $7 million following the announcement of his indictment.

Miller’s post was made on Tuesday afternoon, as the former president flew to New York City for his arraignment. Miller was reportedly accompanied by Susie Wiles and Chris LaCivita.

Trump’s Thursday indictment was historic. In American history, no president or ex-president has been indicted.

Many legal minds think Alvin Bragg, Manhattan District Attorney, is weak. Jonathan Turley, a law professor, criticized the indictment as “legally pathetic.” It remains sealed.

The case has been referred to the President Joe Biden. Karine Jean-Pierre, White House Press Secretary, claimed that Biden was not informed about the indictment against Trump as a presidential candidate.

Biden could launch a 2024 campaign, and potentially face Trump in general election. According to reports, his announcement was delayed from February to the summer.
