Jack Dorsey, co-founder of Twitter, endorsed Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. as the Democratic nominee for president on Sunday, saying that he had a good chance to beat Republican rivals Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis.

The endorsement was made in a tweet from Dorsey who shared a clip with Harris Faulkner of Fox News interviewing Kennedy entitled: “Robert F. Kennedy Jr. argues that he can defeat Trump and DeSantis by 2024.”

Dorsey said, “He can and will.”

Dorsey was asked by a Twitter user if he was supporting Kennedy or just “predicting.”

Dorsey responded, “Both.”

One user said that the DNC will never allow Kennedy to be the Democratic nominee.

Dorsey stated, “True, but they are becoming more and more irrelevant every day.”

FOX Business contacted Kennedy’s campaign to get a comment about Dorsey’s apparent support.

Kennedy has been on the campaign trail for the first week since he announced his candidacy in the Democratic presidential race back in April.

In the most recent Fox News poll, the environmental lawyer, a high-profile vaccine opponent, and scion of one of the country’s most famous political families, has 16% support, while Biden is at 62%. In a CNN survey released last week, the 69-year old Kennedy received 20% of the vote while the 80-year old president was at 60%.

Both surveys, which showed Marianne Williamson, a best-selling writer and spiritual advisor who launched in March her second consecutive campaign for the Democratic nomination at 8%, pointed out potential problems for Biden in his quest for a second term as the White House.
