Vice President Kamala Harris recently spoke at the 9/11 memorial ceremony at the Flight 93 memorial in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, recalling how a vast majority of Americans were “unified with purpose.” She has been talking quite a lot about strength, diversity, and having a difference in opinion. She even tried to warn people against “government interference.” It’s ironic that the Democrat leaders and mainstream media move in as fast as they can to divide people, just to turn around and claim that everyone is divided. Democrats can’t get rid of fear and political divisiveness when it’s their party’s ideology.
VP Harris recalled the Flight 93 story of Americans fighting back against terrorists to take control of their plane, eventually crashing it into a Pennsylvania field. She said in a matter of minutes that the 40 responded as one to save the countless others at our nation’s Capitol.
“By unity, I don’t mean uniformity. We had differences of opinion in 2001 as we do in 2021, and I believe that in America, our diversity is our strength,” VP Harris said.
Just a day before issuing a speech on unity, Harris got feisty during a campaign stop for California Gov. Gavin Newsom. Newsom is currently facing a recall election in his state. VP Harris even called out the red states and promised retaliation, adding that “we will show them.” She emphasized how California needs leaders like Newsom to “always speak the truth” on behalf of the people and to “understand the dignity of all people.”
VP Harris spoke out against Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, who recently signed the state’s new ban on abortions after six weeks, otherwise known as the Texas Fetal Heartbeat Law. She said they do not need a leader who speaks “false” and “empty” words, adding that what is happening in Texas is an attack on women’s rights, reproductive rights, and workers’ rights.
Harris also attacked the Heartbeat Law in opening remarks during a Reproductive Rights Roundtable. She made some interesting remarks in her opening statement against the Supreme Court’s 5-4 ruling on the case.
“When people are able to design their lives in a way that they can determine their own futures, we are a stronger democracy and we are a stronger nation. When people are able to make choices without government interference for themselves — in terms of their wellbeing and the wellbeing of their family, in consultation with whomever they may choose — we are a stronger society,” VP Harris said.
The remarks were made on the exact same day that President Joe Biden dictated to millions of Americans that they had to get the jab or a new job. He announced the new federal vaccine mandate after months of the administration saying they would not make any medical health decisions on the American people. Whenever the Democrats push goalposts, they blame the “more powerful, contagious strain of the Delta Variant.” That’s what Dr. Anthony Fauci, Biden’s top medical adviser, has been doing all year.
Harris spoke out against the “government interference,” adding that people should make their own personal decisions on health and wellbeing. She even recited the left’s “my body, my choice” with complete disregard to their party’s draconian vaccine mandates.
“The rights of women to make decisions about their own bodies is not negotiable. The right of women to make decisions about their own bodies is their decision, it is their body,” Harris emphasized. But which is it? My body my choice, or get the vaccine or else? The Dems are trying to play both sides and the hypocrisy is getting harder for them to juggle by the day.
