Rittenhouse, according to the tweet, broke down during his testimony and said that he had “killed two men” in protest against police BLM last year. He stated that he was trying to put out a fire when Joseph Rosenbaum ambushed him. A second man, Joshua Ziminski, began walking towards Rosenbaum with a gun.

Rittenhouse fled, adding that he was trying to escape from the situation. Witness Richie McGinniss said Rosenbaum lunged at Rittenhouse’s rifle right before Rittenhouse shot him.

It was also reported that Rosenbaum had threatened Ritterhouse earlier in the night. Rittenhouse said if Rosenbaum had taken his firearm from me, then he would’ve used it to kill him and more people.

According to reports, Rittenhouse killed Anthony Huber after he swung a skateboard at him twice and “pulled away” Rittenhouse’s gun.
