Biden tweeted Tuesday, claiming that his administration was behind all U.S. governors to fight the coronavirus epidemic. He also boasted of a “federal program” to deal with the omicron surge.

Biden tweeted that his Administration had the support of all governors fighting COVID-19 in their states. “We have rolled out Omicron’s federal plan last week. It includes hospital equipment and staff, as well as vaccination booster capacity.

There is no federal solution. This gets solved at the state level,” Biden responded, before mentioning another Republican governor.

“I’m looking [at] [New Hampshire] Governor. Chris] Sununu sits on the board. Biden said that he talks a lot about this. This is where the patient will need help, or where they can avoid the need.

Biden has put the federal government at the center of pandemic mitigation efforts. The Education Department opened civil rights investigations in several states for banning school masks.
