Oil Execs Rip Biden Admin’s Completely Inaccurate, Flat-out Lie About US Energy Production

The White House claims that U.S. oil companies have “plenty” of opportunities to drill domestically. Executives are now defending the White House’s “completely inaccurate” and “flat-out lie.”

American Energy Alliance President Tom Pyle stated that “we’ve basically tracked approximately 125 specific actions this administration and Democratic Congress have taken to slow down or cease oil production in America.” He spoke on Tuesday at “Varney & Co.” He has an energy policy that puts America first.

Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy asked President Biden why he would rather U.S. companies drill in Venezuela for oil than here in the U.S. Monday. John Kirby, NSC Strategic Communications Coordinator, defended lifting oil sanctions against Venezuela and said that there are many untapped opportunities for companies drilling in the United States.

The Treasury Department announced on Saturday that it would allow Chevron, a California-based company, to resume “limited” oil production in Venezuela. This follows years of sanctions that severely restricted oil and gas profits flowing to Maduro’s government.

Doocy responded that Kirby’s framing of his question was not an accurate reflection of the president’s views. Doocy countered that earlier this month the president had said that there is no drilling.

Kirby stated that there are many opportunities for oil companies to drill in the United States. Chevron will speak on the issue of sanctions relief. However, we expect that there won’t be much oil from there. It will need to be shipped to America.

John Catsimatidis, Chairman and CEO of United Refining Company, responded by telling Ashley Webster that Tuesday’s move “makes absolutely no sense” after noting that Canada can export 1 million barrels per day more crude oil to the U.S.

“Can anyone explain why we give business to Venezuela?” Who is associated with China Russia?” Catsimatidis responded. “Why are they giving them the business but not Canada?”

Catsimatidis said that he was also left “puzzled by” the White House’s handling of the issue.

The billionaire CEO stated that Washington requires checks and balances. However, he hoped to have more checks and balances so it can be a Republican Congress.

Pyle explained why the Biden government may choose to obtain oil from Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and Venezuela rather than Texas, New Mexico, and North Dakota.

Pyle stated that Pyle simply wanted to please his large donors, who don’t want fossil fuels to be produced in the country. “And while we’re all hurting and will continue to hurt due to these policies,

American Energy Alliance President also warned of the economic and environmental consequences of oil from foreign sources.

Pyle observed that Venezuelan production has been decimated by Maduro’s socialist policies. They don’t produce as much oil and gas here as they do here. Their oil is more harmful to the environment than ours. It is not about the environment. It’s about a policy that doesn’t want these resources…in this country.

It’s not only the jobs in red states such as Texas and Louisiana. Pyle stated that the oil and gas industry includes caterers, banks, real estate agents, and banks. “There are people in Minnesota who bring the sand, the boots. This is not only about the industry; it’s all about the jobs throughout the economy.

The latest step in the softening hostile relations between the U.S. government and Venezuelan is this decision by the Biden administration. This decision came just weeks after a major prisoner exchange in which seven Americans were released by Venezuela in exchange for two nephews being freed by the United States. Maduro also released two more Americans in March.
