A California couple sued an in vitro fertility clinic in Pasadena for “breach contract, medical malpractice and negligence, fraudulent concealment, and violation of Unfair Competition Law, Consumer Legal Remedies Act, and fraud.” Their child, for whom they paid good money, turned out to actually be a girl instead of a boy.

According to the lawsuit, when Albert and Anthony Saniger got married in 2013, they dreamed about having two sons. The lawsuit states that the couple, before they got married, chose the first and middle names of their sons and created Gmail account for them with their first names and last names in May 2015.
The suit claims that throughout the entire process, the Sanigers were explicit in their communication with HRC and Kolb about the fact that they only wanted male embryos to be transferred to the surrogate. They also stated that the defendants had told them that the Sanigers could choose the specific embryos that would be used for each transfer.
The suit claims that HRC and Kolb had “negligently or recklessly transferred a female fetus to the Sanigers gestational carriers.”
According to the lawsuit, HRC “specifically targets families in the LGBTQ Community” and its website states that the clinic is “dedicated to helping the gay and lesbian communities achieve their dreams of parenting.”
According to the lawsuit, the financial impact on the Sanigers will be “staggering”, as they will end up raising three children instead of the two sons they originally planned.
This story is filled with so many moral and human wrongs that it’s hard to even know where to begin. The children are treated like objects and not as humans. A young girl is condemned to live in a home with parents who are homosexuals and already hate her. I can’t imagine how life will be for the two boys that they want but haven’t yet been born. One wonders if the two boys have also created their own personalized OnlyFans websites. They either did not receive ultrasound images or chose to ignore them. It’s hard to imagine that a “gestational carriers” business model would not provide ultrasounds to their “clients”.
This story is sick.
I wrote last week about a new California law that would require insurance companies to cover IVF treatments, as well as “gestational carriers”, in the context of “infertility”. This is because the new California law redefines the term “infertility,” to include cases where reproduction can be biologically impossible.
This case is an example of what can go wrong when children are treated as commodities. Parents do not treat them like gifts from God. Parents treat them like a product. If the child doesn’t impress the couple’s friends, they can take the IVF company to court and the egg donor.
Ironically, this would never have happened if the Transtifa was correct. The idea of biological sexuality is problematic, as we’re told and taught in some medical schools. The Associated Press style guide discourages journalists from using the terms “male” or “female”. The couple who felt wronged only had to declare that the girl was a boy to solve the issue.
