Hunter Biden’s Legal Team Subpoenas Trump and Barr

Hunter Biden must be getting desperate.

His legal team argues that the prosecution was somehow due to “incessant and improper partisan pressure”.

It’s funny because the accusations are the opposite, that Hunter’s case was not properly investigated and that whistleblowers were prevented from questioning Joe Biden, and other members of his family or delving into the areas where they might have been involved.

Hunter’s legal staff has asked for a subpoena to be issued for former President Donald Trump and former Attorney General Bill Barr. There are some major problems with the subpoena request.

The response of Special Counsel David Weiss was perfect.

Weiss wrote: “Not only do the defendant’s arguments fail to identify actual evidence of bias or vindictiveness on the part of the Special Counsel, but they also ignore an inconvenient fact: No charges against the defendant were brought during the previous administration when subpoena recipient held office within the Executive Branch.”

“Instead, all charges in this case were or will be brought under the current administration, one in which the defendant’s dad, Joseph R. Biden is President of the United States, and Merrick B. Garland is the Attorney-General that was appointed and personally appointed by President Biden. The filing states that the defendant has not demonstrated, nor is he able to demonstrate, how statements made by political opponents of Biden, who are also his Attorney General and Special Counsel, improperly influenced him, the Attorney General, or the Special Counsel, to bring charges against President Biden’s son.

Translation: You guys are truly poor and have nothing. Irony is not enough to argue this when you know that the charges started under your father.

It’s difficult to understand how a subpoena could be accepted if Hunter’s team doesn’t present any evidence of bias. This also appears to be a search for anything that will help them in their case. It’s also not a good thing to involve the main political opponent of Hunter’s father in the upcoming election. Hunter is in an extremely difficult position and can’t get out of it by doing this. After his plea deal failed, he may have to face the charges.

If he is convicted, there’s one last option: his father must pardon him before he leaves. This could have a political cost to the American public, who may not like such a move. Joe Biden would be hurt by this. Joe Biden is already losing a lot of voters and from many different sources. One such group is the “Abandon Biden”, a Muslim leader group that encourages Muslims to not vote for Biden in key swing states like Michigan. Biden cannot afford to lose any more voters, otherwise, he’ll be in serious trouble by 2024.
