White House Accused of Deceit Over KJP Interview with Local Radio Station After Abrupt Hang-Up

Published on

Karine Jean-Pierre, White House Press Secretary, called into a WBT Radio Show with host Mark Garrison, when Joe Biden visited North Carolina on Tuesday.

The situation began to deteriorate when Garrison asked if Joe Biden was suffering from dementia because he claimed that people had asked him to ask her. That disturbed her. She called it “insulting” and “offensive.”

He then asked about the price of gas and groceries. She replied that Biden “understands”, and then attempted to blame the former president Donald Trump, even though gas and grocery costs were lower under Trump than they were under Biden. She then made a rude comment to thank them and hung up.

Garrison was playing the audio for a different host, and people were shocked when she hung up. Garrison noted that she had been supposed to stay on the show longer.

It was already bad. The White House spun the story in a way that was almost bizarre, rather than admitting she had hung up when asked the question that everyone wanted answered.

Andrew Bates, White House Deputy press secretary, said that KJP was trying to meet time constraints and had conducted back-to-back interviews. The radio station also added the dial tone.

Karine, as she does often when the President is on a trip, had several back-to-back radio interviews. Each station was given seven minutes. After the agreed-upon time had passed, Karine called into the next interview. This allowed everyone the full amount of time they were entitled to. This particular station decided not to broadcast the entire interview and instead added a sound that is not made by our phones when calls end.

The radio station claims the White House isn’t telling the truth.

The White House’s claim that we added sound effects is nonsense. Mark Garrison, a Daily Caller reporter, said that the noise on the other end was the only source of the phone noise when she hung up. The Daily Caller was also given a copy of the audio they claimed to be the raw audio. This included the dial tone.

Around 7:17, you can hear her say goodbye before hanging up the phone.

The White House has a bad track record when it comes to lying. Plus, you have that alleged raw audio. Imagine how fragile this group is. How desperate they are. They must hang up their phones and spread lies about it because they do not want to deal with the true question that many Americans have regarding Joe Biden’s dementia. They want to make it seem like the question is illegitimate. This attitude will not help them in their dealings with the American public because the question won’t go away. Biden is on our screens every day, which is unfortunate for them. KJP told us to “watch him,” and so we do. We see the problems, so they can’t hide them.
