Biden visited Charlotte, North Carolina on Thursday to meet the families of law enforcement officers who were recently killed in a shooting. It’s a good thing. A president should do this. And kudos go to the anonymous staffer who put this event on the calendar. The president is unlikely to have thought of it on his own. This is a good example of leadership. The Biden administration was not particularly adept at this.
What about the arrival of the President in Charlotte? It’s not so good.

I will not use the obvious comparison of a “short bus”, but the Secret Service agent was not hovering above him. He trotted down the stairs quickly a few moments after the president’s slow, halting descent.

Check out these optics! He is confused, clinging on to Charlotte Mayor Vilyles’ hand as if he were a lost child. He doesn’t seem to know where he is, or what to do.
This is not a man who has a bad memory. This man’s physical and mental decline cannot be denied.
Will he make it to the elections? Will he be able to make it to the Democratic National Convention, which will take place in Chicago? How will he respond if he makes it to the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, which is likely to be a replay of 1968? The odds are growing. No wonder polls continue to show a downward trend for the president.
Joe Biden is being abused by those who support him. Joe Biden wasn’t the sharpest knife to begin with, but his decline is now undeniable. Each day, he continues to show his degeneration. The Democrats cannot let him continue to the election if they want to keep their grip on the White House.
Kamala Harris could be shown the door quietly, possibly by being bought with a big patronage position. Someone younger (which would leave the field wide-open) could then be chosen to replace him. This would still leave the new candidate little time to spread their message.
We’ve reached a point where winning reelection for Joe Biden would be more embarrassing than him being president.
