Vice President Kamala Harris revealed what’s truly important to her this time of year – Christmas presents. While the Biden Administration led Afghanistan into a full-blown crisis, VP Harris flew to Singapore to warn business leaders that it’s time to start buying toys. With climate change and a COVID-19 recovering economy, there could be some adverse effects on the supply chain. She even warned there could be more lockdowns, citing a rise in Delta Variant cases. It’s not a surprise that the Democrats would consider another lockdown around the holidays so they can once again push their fraudulent mail-in ballot system.
VP Harris warned leaders that the delay could be “many months” for Christmas toys for their children and that many people across the board are experiencing that issue. She pointed to climate change in particular.
“And, of course, the climate crisis is fueling a lot of this. When we look at the stronger typhoons that have disrupted shipping lanes and sea-level rise, which threatens port infrastructure as an example. So these are the many issues that are causing these disruptions,” VP Harris said.
Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and VP Harris were both asked about the “disastrous U.S withdrawal” from Afghanistan.
“I understand and appreciate why you asked the question. And I think there’s going to be plenty of time to analyze what has happened and what has taken place in the context of the withdrawal from Afghanistan. But right now, we are singularly focused on evacuating American citizens, Afghans who worked with us, and Afghans who are vulnerable, including women and children,” VP Harris said.
While VP Harris mostly dodged the topic of Afghanistan in her comments, she said they have a responsibility and commitment to making sure that the “folks who helped us” are safe.
Lee adds that countries have to make “recalculations and adjust their positions” from time to time, adding that it can be done smoothly or with hiccups. He was incredibly blunt about his position and said the most important thing is “what the U.S does going forward.” He asked how the U.S would reposition itself in the region and engage with its friends, partners, and allies, that continue to fight against terrorism.
Harris has also taken an aim at China in a foreign policy speech, adding that they know Beijing “continues to coerce, to intimidate, and to make claims to the vast majority of the South China Sea.” And then there’s the timing of VP Harris’s trip to Vietnam right as the Taliban takes over Kabul, which many have compared to the fall of Saigon. Many reports claimed that the “prospect of Harris visiting Vietnam at this particular moment raised the possibility of the worst photo op for an American in that country since Jane Fonda donned a helmet there in 1972.”
Fox News contributor Leo Terrell talked about his concerns regarding Democrats wanted to shut down the U.S economy again, adding that the economy is locked down means another shutdown to control Americans. Terrell even went on to say that this goes all the way back to the Biden Administration’s heavy involvement in California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s recall election, calling it a very dangerous warning sign.
“She’s coming to California to help soon to be recalled, Governor Newsom. And the problem is, is she’s the most unpopular and really, in my opinion, the most unqualified person to serve as vice president. What can she offer to people in California? I’ll tell you right now, she’s known, for one thing, the failure at the southern border and that southern border failure has impacted California. And this state is a total disaster. That is why Newsom is in trouble,” Terrell said.
VP Harris is doing exactly what everyone else in the Biden Administration is doing right now – talking about nothing and staying away. I’m surprised she didn’t promote buying your Christmas presents from China.
